Aurelie & Saskia
Stylish guidance for your event or festive occasion.
We met each other in various professional ensembles, including Prima La Musica and The Antwerp Philharmonic Orchestra, formerly known as Il Novecento.
Together we toured many European countries and accompanied international artists including Meatloaf, Anastacia, Simple Red, Céline Dion, Toto, Simple Minds, James Morrison, Andrea Bocelli, Amy McDonald, Ike Turner, Roxette, Björk, James Brown, etc.
We were also lucky to work with a line-up of Belgian musicians, Clouseau, Axelle Red, Metejoor, Will Tura, Toots Tielemans, Sandra Kim, Willy Sommers, Regi, Bart Peeters,....
When Aurélie moved to Gooik for love, in Saskia's backyard, the plan arose to start a duo. The sounds of the harp and the violin complement each other perfectly.
We are happy to listen to all your events. Are you looking for suitable music for "the day of your life", the opening of your new business, an atmospheric reception, candlelight dinner, the farewell of a loved one, ... do not hesitate to contact us.

Our curriculum in a nutshell:
Saskia Swalus
I was born in Halle. In this city I took my first steps in the music world. As a 7-year-old I started violin lessons at the academy with Mr. Jules Cocquyt. After the academy I continued my studies at the Lemmens Institute in Leuven, with Mr. Dirk Lippens and Guido De Neve. In the meantime I got the chance to be part of various orchestras with tours through Mallorca, Germany, Japan, Spain, Poland, the Netherlands, France, Denmark,...
As a teacher I am affiliated with the capital's art academy in Brussels.
Aurelie Guerreiro Viegas
I come from Walloon Brabant and had my first harp lessons from Brigitte Pichal at the academy of Court-Saint-Etienne. Later I went to IMEP in Namur and then to the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp where I obtained my master and post-master diplomas with Sophie Hallynck, both for harp and chamber music. I love playing in orchestras but also in smaller ensembles. You can find me in Duo and Quadro Viegas on historical instruments as well as in the more modern Flanders Harp Quartet.
As a teacher I am affiliated with the academy of Gooik and the conservatory of Mechelen.
